Pool Etiquette: Guideline for young and not so young
Most public pools have rules people must adhere to, it is important for everyone to follow some pool etiquette in order to keep pools clean and people safe. The goal is for everyone to have fun and enjoy their day at the pool.
Follow these pool etiquette rules;
Wear pool slippers

Wear proper pool attire
Bring a towel
Shower before entering the pool
Do not run around pool area
Do not splash people in the pool and outside the pool
Do no jump into pool when people are close by in (the pool or outside the pool), splashing is not proper
No food in the pool
No drinking in the pool
No pushing people into the pool

Make sure kids wear floaters
No objects in the pool (except pool related)
Some pools require the use of hair caps in their pool
No shouting, calling out across the pool
If you have an open wound you should not use the pool
If you suffer from any contagious disease you should not use the pool
No peeing in the pool, make sure to explain it well to young and not so young children
No swearing or bad language (at the pool and elsewhere)
Exiting the pool use a towel and do not wet people sitting near by
If you are eating or drinking do not leave any garbage around, always clean up after you are done
